Welcome to The Bridge Inward’s Inside Story

November 2018

Greetings All,

November is typically all about the beginning of the holidays and gathering of family and friends for Thanksgiving dinner. Most of us eat a feast that renders us comatose and then get right back up to eat some more.

I would like to invite you to see if you can discover a different reason to celebrate this holiday, to create a new ritual, big or small, for your Thanksgiving day. I invite you to do something this Thanksgiving that makes YOU happy and that brings YOU joy even if it renders you unavailable to those you are usually available to. Then share that joy and happiness with a full and humble heart.

There is no difference between you and me and the rest of the world when it comes to treating ourselves with kindness, compassion and an understanding of our self-worth. If we don’t feel these things within ourselves, how can we feel them for others? We are all a part of the same cloth, the same weave, the same thread. If we judge ourselves, its as if we are judging God’s creation, the creation of YOU.

So, this holiday season, don’t forget to fill your own cup first. Take the first step in saying no to the things you may have said yes to in the past, simply out of obligation or guilt. These things only add resentment to the mix, and this resentment only hurts you. Find a way to do for others from your heart or don’t do it! You can’t help anyone if you’re already drowning yourself.

Create boundaries that send a clear message that you know that you matter, and soon you will feel your own inner chambers being filled with a frequency of Divine Love that will radiate out, affecting all who are near you.

Over the last few years I have had to give up many material things that I used to think I could never live without. But when it came right down to it, I didn’t appreciate a lot of what I had until I had a lot less.

Now, the most treasured and precious “thing” in my life is my relationship with and connection to the Divine. By leaving behind the things of the “material” world, I have gained more that I could ever need in this life and in all of eternity.

In this month’s blog, I offer simple steps for you to begin a practice of meditation that will replenish your body and soul.

Tips for detoxing your body and mind

We are constantly bombarded by toxins. They come at us from all directions and, unless you live in a bubble, they can’t be avoided. We also create subconscious beliefs that store as energy in our bodies. These too contribute to illness and dis-ease and can be released from the body along with using a detox protocol.

It is also important to understand that, before you start a detox process, that sometimes the detox pathways of the body are closed or blocked. This means there is no way for toxins to leave the body, which can lead to a build-up of toxins and cause you to feel ill or worse.

Because most people are in this state, it would be wise for all of us to get assistance in creating a detox protocol before beginning one. This is especially important if you know you are sensitive.

Below, I have listed a few suggestions that can assist your body in detoxing. Again, if you are sensitive, you will want to go slowly and try things out to see what works best for your physiology. We are all different, so what works for one person may not for another. Use your best judgment and your intuition to guide you in this process.

Throughout the rest of 2018 I am offering a special on a detox session. If you are having health issues or are just not sure how to proceed and want assistance, you may schedule two, 15-minute sessions with me for $50.

I can tune into your body’s specific needs and make requests to my Angel team on your behalf, assisting you in having an easier time with less or no side effects.

5 Recommendations for Creating Your Own Successful Visualization and Meditation Practice

You may use this as a template for setting up your own practice. Here is the second recommendation of the five:

“Way’s to Find Time to Meditate that Really Work”

Choosing a time that suits your schedule and your willingness to focus on something other than your conflicting thoughts and responsibilities is an important step in finding what works best for you. Sometimes your schedule may require you to be flexible on the time, so be willing and prepared to take your meditation on the road with you. Having it downloaded to your phone on an iPad or other device is a great way to accomplish this. If you’re waiting for someone in an appointment or you have a few extra minutes at lunch, use this time wisely and get your meditation in.

Know that spending this time to meditate will facilitate your spiritual growth, support the cultivation of your relationship with your Angels and or Guides, development of your consciousness, and evolve you into a more Divine human being.

Whether you choose to meditate first thing in the morning, at lunchtime, bedtime or anytime in-between, know that committing yourself to this practice will propel you forward on your best Divine path.

Expanding not only helps you but it helps the entire planet.
